Tradition

1949
Artisan Ernst Lochmann started making trailers, winches, canopies, sprayers etc. at his forge in Tisens.

1960
Production is relocated to the new factory in Vilpian, where industrial manufacture of agricultural machinery begins.

1980-1985
Ernst’s three sons, Gerhard, Erich and Hubert Lochmann, enter their father’s business.

1983
LOCHMANN KABINEN GmbH is established and the eldest son, Gerhard Lochmann, takes over the tractor cab division.

1989
Tractor cab production is relocated to Truden.

1990
Hubert Lochmann takes over the crop protection equipment division and begins specialising in this. Erich Lochmann, on the other hand, specialises in trailers, manure spreaders, slurry tankers and winches.

1997
LOCHMANN Plantatec GmbH is established and specialises exclusively in developing crop protection products.

2000
Production of crop protection equipment shifts to the new factory in Nals.

2010
Production hall in Nals is expanded.
